Sirius Diversified Inc (SDI) is a fictional corporation set in the Freelancer video game setting. It originated on the Topfreelancers server in early 2005, and has recently expanded to the Shattered Worlds server.
It is traditionally a non-combat clan, which is unusual in the Freelancer environment, although it does have a security sub-group. SDI was intended to be a "role playing" clan in the sense where it could play any role needed on a particular server.
Freelancer is a 6 year old game that can trace its roots to Wing Commander: Privateer. It is very hard to find now, but occasionally can be found on Amazon.com or a software store like Gamestop. It is free to play online, although Microsoft shut down the global server years ago. Information on existing Freelancer servers can be found at http://the-starport.net/.
